Boro Plastering was established in 1937 by Andrew Matorella
with the intention of doing first class, high quality residential work. Those
principles have been carried out throughout the years. In 1946 Joseph, Andrew's
son, took control of the company, preserving the family business his father
had struggled to maintain. In 1954, Andrew's younger son, John, joined
his brother as a partner in the business. Due to the continued success and
growth of the company, Gary Annino joined Joseph and John in 1997 to ensure
their continued success into the next century. We have worked
on the Public Theater and The New York Stock Exchange, but much of the company's
work continues to be "Fine Residences" where we give each job our
individual attention. Working with architects and interior
designers, we can turn ordinary rooms into works of art by adding unique
custom and pre-cast moldings, domes, columns, colored venetian
plaster, ceilings and pre-cast classical ornaments such as rosettes and plaques,
etc. We can duplicate an existing plaster design by making a mold from the
original. No job is too difficult, too small, or too big for our plasterers
and atrisans to handle. Please join us and add your home to the
list of distinctive residences recognized by all!
